The Mission Statement
of The Open Scroll
The Open Scroll is an independently produced web site providing a forum for the display of poetry, prose, and opinion through the sole medium of the World Wide Web.
The mission of The Open Scroll is to develop a place in which to present quality literature and opinion, and to defend freedom of speech through a blatantly antagonistic posture against the commercialization and
resulting control, regulation, and censorship of the internet.
Chaos is the sentry of freedom,
as regulation is the narcotic poison
secreted by the almighty dollar.
In other words, to keep the earth from falling into the pot.
