The Meaning of Love

1 "I love you"

Not even a metaphor could possibly describe true love
What then, really could say to you the truth behind love
The beauties of Earth, the sea, the sky
Nothing can instill this deep everlasting feeling
So I can not say my love is like the ocean,
Nor the sky above
Nor the vast span of a birds wings
Nor the ends of a universe
They may put me in such great awe
Still, they do not come close to the mystery of true love
The greatest of pleasure that one lives for, is love
Many wars fought over it,
Many lives taken for it
Yet people try to descibe love
All the meek descriptions still do not explain love to me.

Nor do I believe anyone can utter a word in the name of love
So, to show you the ultimate feeling that I was brought to this very planet for
