Humanity

1 When they delivered me to the cross
I smelt the hypocrisy

When they delivered me to this life I must dream about
I smelt the hypocrisy

When they killed my soul and body in their name
I smelt the hypocrisy

When they demanded to kill others
I smelt the hypocrisy

But so does humanity

And I am a simple man

When I handed me over and took the cross
the hypocrisy smelled like my integration

When I read Langston Hughes and decided to hold fast my dreams
the hypocrisy smelled like my integration

When I died completely, my body and spirit together a soul, under my exiting name
the hypocrisy smelled like my integration

When I demanded to choose life for my responsibilty
the hypocrisy smelled like my integration

But so does humanity

And I am a simple man

a simple man, a simple plan..

yet it was man, who made the hypocrosy..

hid the secrets from thirteen and shared with one,

the one they removed and called a harlot.

she knew the secret to trasnform inside to one,

the teachings never shared are never begun.

keep me inside your heart like the sun,

still the mind to let the son shine in..
