Last call at the Bellevue Saloon

1
I am not beautiful.
I am not your Queen
I am not your King of Majesty.
I am the ugly one with a funny shaped face
too long for an even longer neck.
I have crooked teeth and a big nose
and a funny haircut.
I dress like a girl and my breath stinks.

I’ll come up to you like you’re my friend
and I’ll say “Hi, how you doing?”
And when I say “Hi,” you’ll smell my tuna lunch
and you won’t say a thing about it
because you’re my half-brother; of bastardly kind
tied together with whores called mom
and an affinity for dark skinned girls in tight leather shorts.

I’ll accost your private space
spilling my orange Tang on your new white tennis shoes
and still. Still Still Still
still you won’t raise a finger to my oversized head.
You can’t because you remember what happened the last time.
You’re lucky you didn’t get splinters when they took that wooden spoon out of your ass.

Anyway, talking to you is like going downtown in prison.
You bore me like a funeral for someone I don’t know.
I hate you like an abstraction
so next time you smell me coming
hide yourself, do us both a favor.
Nobody likes a schizophrenic.

2 I am not your mother
I am not your bride
I am not your shadow
But, in your darkness I hide

Welcome to the saloon we share
Welcome to my dreams
Welcome to the strange landscapes
That echo tired screams

I won't touch your glass of tang
I won't touch your lunch
I won't touch your frightened dog
As wilted grass gets munched

I am not your dreams of peace
I am not your hate
I am not your jilted love
No, I am just your fate

Scream your life, if you need to
Scream your fears, if you must
Scream of closing time again
And watch your screams all rust

You are my favorite schizo
You're my favorite pyschopath
You are my favorite reason
To unleash all my wrath

You look at me with hate and fear
You look at me with pain
You look at me love and hope
Don't you know it's all in vain?

I am a schizo, too, you know
I'm just a pyschopath
I am not able to control my self
Or your unending wrath.
3
so you find your self
in the corner behind the smoke,
the mirror never lies, after all.
4
so you find your self
in the corner behind the smoke,
the mirror never lies, after all.
