consumed

1 desperation consumes me
of my soul, there is nothing left
rung dry of all my hope
of my whole, nothing but a skeleton left.

2
sorrow devours me
steals my life, there is nothing left
a desolate landscape of faded dreams
nothing left but yesterday
3 Tomarrow pushs through with
nothing but rainclouds.
My eyes droun in this rain of sorrow.

''But it can't rain forever.''
4

ah, but it rains forever
inside walls
that fail to drown me

therefore don't i look to the sky
and dance in puddles
and rainbows
greeting the sun
