1 My cat is bouncing off the walls
He's running up and down the halls
I see he's been out on my car
It's in the garage so it won't go far
I see the prints of little paws
My car is glad he has no claws

Oh no! He's out, he's on the lawn!
I've lost him now, he's gone 'til dawn.
Fetch him, Rover, fetch, I say!
Bring back that cat, now, right away!

And Rover is off! He runs so fast!
He'll make sure that I laugh last.
He gives him chase, the cat takes flight!
Oh my goodness, what a sight!

He's closing now, that cat is his!
No, wait, Rover's stopped to take a whiz.
Rover, no! Not on the fence!
That's electric. What are you, dense?

Uh-oh, dog, you've made a miscue.
You've got the piss shocked out of you.
Come on back, let's go inside.
I'll see if I can soothe your black and blistered hide.

Go on cat, play all night,
chase those mice with all your might.
When you return in the morning's light,
you're not getting back in, stay out of my sight!

3 Cats are such a pain
a big financial drain
If I took them all to the pound
I'd really stay quite sain.
