Darkness

1 I have seen the darkness and the ruin,
vultures feast on bludgeoned prey,
I have seen the darkness and despair,
the cold heart no longer beats life.
2 I have seen the chaos and plague,
I know the scent of death.
I have broken the sacred seals,
and cursed God beneath my breath.

I have raked the world in fire,
and called the Dark Ones's name.
I have placed my faith on the pire,
I have murdered and raped without shame.

then my period was over and everything was ok.

3
I have felt the unimaginable silence
surrounded by immense darkness
wrapped in suffocating fears

I have known the solitude
where icy waters and dark skies threaten
I reached out my shaking hand
to find the shrieking winds mock me.

4
And I turn to find myself unalone.
He is standing with me at the edge of Armageddon.
"Would you like to leave this place?" He asks.
"How can I leave my own heart?" I reply.
"Just start over." He says,
and I open my eyes to find I already have.

I see the light and renovation.
Hummingbirds feed on willing flower.
I see the brightness and hope.
The warm heart beats new life.....

5 I feel no wrong I can carry on
I will meet Him
the one who forgives
the only one that can let me live
damnation is yours if you dont except the name
of Christ Jesus with no vain.
