I dreamed a dream

1 I dream a in days gone by
When hope was high and life worth living
I dreamed our love would never die
I hoped you'd never say good -bye

As I watched you walk away
My lifed seemed at bay
Memories of you came at night
And I dreamed you'd come back to me
And we would grow old and gray together

But years riped my hopes apart and turned my dreames to shame
And now Live has Killed the Dream I dreamed

2 Dream on a name

Dream on something wrong
Dream on glamour
World still there
People dead
No one you knew
So death destroyed your hopes
Some would think you lucky
Some die and are still alive
Live
3 Live and you still die,
no matter how hard you fight.
Die and you shall sleep,
a long peaceful sleep.
Dreams are the place for hope,
waiting for the love and wants of tomorrow.
Dreaming dreams are meant of these,
So dream a dream for me.

Then again, death is not a sleep.
Death is not an answer.
Death is only nothing.
Nothing.
Besides, how can we possibly get even from the other side?

5 i once dreamed a dream of love
but torn to peices was i
for my love had not loved me
left me she did for one of my friends
never she said she'd be with him
but here they are together
and me left to love her still
but to always know that
she'll never be mine for
i love but my love does not love me
