 what did nat turner see in the sky?

 freedom and what must die

 shackles and chains

 bloodhounds, clouds, and rain

 fire and not one soul left alive

 now i just sit idly by and hide

 it must have been god's will

 shackles and chains

 clouds and rain...

 ...bloodhounds

 walking to the gallows

 never to repent

 god's orders heaven sent.
