 hi denise its me again

 reading the history books about a friend

 again again and again

 segregation just like a sin

 and that racist and how he grinned

 and how me and others cried

 the day you and the other girls died

 i'll continue to write to the day of my demise

 mimicing your smile

 hopefully one day i'll visit your grave

 still walking the path you helped pave

 denise...
