How can the weeks go by like that?
Slip by like shadows in the corner of your eye.
Sneak passed at night so you don’t see them.
A blur you’re not sure was ever even there.
Phantoms you turn to see that have vanished.
Yesterday was June and today is October.
How do they do that?
