the only thing I would do with this piece, is recheck the grammar. The one line that really stood out and called to me, was

"Around me flows the martyrs of my decay"

I wonder if it isn't just the word decay that draws my attention. I always say, you can never go wrong with decay. j/k, I think I need a nap.
