Wow... I'd say that was short and sweet, but that poem wasn't quite 'sweet' in that way.
Absolutely amazing, it almost gives me this feeling that the words are hard to get out, "reluctant" like you say, "muted," and yet screaming out at the same time.
The break from the 8th to 9th line is AWESOME, really emphasizes the sheer fragility of the body and medicine's harshness, how the mechanics of it "betray... life."
Once again, absolutely amazing.
