 projects and steel mills all around

 growing up gunshots and many other sounds

 yet a beautiful town

 bronzeville synanomous with capone

 too late to tell fred hampton daley's on the phone

 and harold washington saying it won't be long!!

 now he's gone

 my perspective from the southside

 disco's death in comiskey park

 till's home and the dark

 and the rebirth of a pair of white sox

 right on the southside
