My Black Ocean

No one is here to absorb the sound
purple waves crashing
arms flailing in the sea of bodies
this ocean is like a mass grave
the reality seems endless
as death becomes familiar
and breaths are panicked
you reach for me,
try to grab on
but I'm drowning too
I know I said I would always love you
because you put yourself in my shoes
I wish fate was tamable
But it's harder to grasp now
the python is squeezing my body tight
breathing, breaking my body boldly
I am drowning deeper now, uncontrollably
Can you help me?
The smell of desperation breeds this black water that feeds into me
the waves become coffins engrossing unwilling victims
Didn't I tell you it would have been different if you would have listened to me in the end
This dark night consumes me as the black ocean takes me under
