Hard to admit.

Wrinkled hands type out a letter I’ll never send.
Its hard to admit you don’t know the person you love,
hard to admit you’ve made them out to be perfect,
when you know they’re far from it.
And we were always better in writing and dreams,
than we ever were in flesh and blood.
I suppose I mean I love you, but I know we'll never be.
