A Pamphlet

One day I received a pamphlet from an anonymous Christian group
Addresses unwritten on the thin white envelope
It said I have sinned and through praying I should be saved
In bold black fond, it said Chris had sacrifice his life for me
Thus I throw away my six volume pre-Socratic Greek philosophy
Sprinkled ashes on my head and torn my clothes
In the old testament¡¯s fashion
Ran to the church where they were pulling on the bells
I fell down on my knees, hit it at the hard marble step, and it bled
I saw a golden crucifix standing beyond the benches
And the man who had shed his blood for me
An old priest dressed in white with a blood red cross on the chest
Asked me to confess, and said God would forgive
Then he guided me through the churchyard.
Gloomy faced relatives and friends with black sunglasses crowded it
To a place on corner where a coffin was placed, open
He then inscribe on a wooden cross with his long nails
With my name and my birthday
And I heard a voice called from behind
¡®O lamb, back to your right shepherd¡¯
But I dare not look back, in the fear of Hades
And the church tower fell down, people rush, screaming
Disappeared into the ground, and wilderness returned
And the voice was calling, then I wander and wander.
