I like the whole thing from "snow bone" on. Everything before that seems like disconnected questions to me.I am especially drawn to "pieces of a word", and I think the last stanza is exceptional. The whole examination throughout of death, decay, rebirth in winter pleases the nature poet in me. It seems as if you are more "poetic" when you trying less to shock, almost as if traditional matters draw out stronger words from you than the modern topics do. Am I making any sense at all? :-)
