I do believe I was aware of those facts. If you will please go back and REREAD the poem, the introduction says that it was INSPIRED by Stephen King's epic series "The Gunslinger" and that THAT series was in fact inspired by Browning's poem. In fact, I even gave the url so everyone could go and see Browning's poem for themselves since I love it so much...
I take offense at being accused of "borrowing" after the time I spent making sure that this was a worthy tribute to the insirational "idea" of the ever-evasive Dark Tower.
