This is inspired by the Epic Series "The Gunslinger" by Stephen King and the poem "Childe Rolande to the Dark Tower Came" by Robert Browning. I have been intrigued with the "idea" of he Dark Tower since first reading it years ago. If you want you can view Brownings poem at

========================================================================

His eyes are formed of stone and steel,
a blazing shade of blue.
Regard what lies there hastily,
he'll procure YOUR essence, too.

Holding secrets of a thousand years
hostage in their glare,
the mirror into Rolande's soul
Thee Dark Tower reflected there.

Brilliant orbs that spin a tale
words could never voice,
one of obsession laced with lies,
no longer one of choice.

He blindly ensues the ancient Beam,
a covert pathway, Dark and sweet.
The only sign his heart is true -
symbolic red rose and intricate key.

A figment of Rolande's reality,
Thee Tower, imminently awaits.
Forsaking all to reach Thee steps -
ensuing self-proclaimed fate.

His destiny, beloved and true,
commences an ardous twist;
for when christened "Utopia"
Thee Dark Tower ceases to exist.
