I was walkin' along
not really anywhere to be going
I had nothing to do
on this lovely Saturday afternoon
the park was crowded as usual
for this time of year
the rain and heat are over
it's the begining of fall
people walking
talking
everywhere
I look all around
not wanting to stare
the beautiful women
walk by in droves
where did they come from
these angelic faces
porcelain beauties
of fragile graces
from far away exotic places?
they all are so beautiful to me
I don't understand
how some can't see
that something so grand
didn't come from overseas
but was born right here in town.

I guess it depends on which eye you look out of.
